BALDWIN PARK – A search was under way today for two suspects blamed for fatally shooting a man and his 14-year-old son in a Baldwin Park neighborhood, police said. The shootings occurred at 8:33 last night in the 4000 block of Downing Avenue, said Deputy Ed Hernandez of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau. Baldwin Park Police officers responded to a call of shots being fired at the scene and discovered a man and his son had been shot, Hernandez said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while his father was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died, he said.
