Watch The Revivalists Record Tom Petty Cover For SiriusXM “Jam Files” [Pro-Shot Video]

first_imgEarlier this month, after much anticipation, The Revivalists announced their long-awaited new studio album, Take Good Care, due out on November 9th via Loma Vista Recordings. During the group’s sold-out show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 13th, the New Orleans-based band first broke the news to fans, who have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up to 2015’s Men Amongst Mountains.Ahead of their upcoming studio release, The Revivalists stopped by SiriusXM‘s Jam On channel to record a “Jam File” session. SiriusXM has given fans a brief glimpse into the in-studio performance, sharing a pro-shot video of The Revivalists’ David Shaw and Zack Feinberg‘s cover of Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers”, the title track off his beloved 1994 album. The release of the video comes the day before the one-year anniversary of Petty’s death last fall.The Revivalists acoustic Sirius XM performance airs at different times all week on Jam On. Two children hospitalized after eating THC-infused candy accidentally given out by a local food bank

first_imgThe Roy City Police Department said that two children, ages 5 and 11, were hospitalized after they ate THC-infused candy that was accidentally placed in their bag of food that was given out to their families by a Utah food bank. Last week, the Utah Food Bank handed out 63 bags of food to 63 families at a distribution point set up at the Roy Baptist Church. Inside the bags: Nerds Rope candy infused with a 400 mg dosage of THC, officials said.In a Facebook post, police said that they believe each bag of food contained three to four packages of candy.Law enforcement and the Utah Food Bank are reaching out to families who may have received the candy. They do not know where it came from. first_imgDES MOINES — Three hours before the 2019 Iowa legislative session began, 150 Iowa Republicans gathered in a Des Moines hotel ballroom to celebrate their 2018 election victories and provided some general hints of their agenda for the year ahead.Jeff Kaufmann , the chairman of the Iowa Republican Party, said Republican Governor Kim Reynolds has a mandate from voters.“The governor won 88 of 99 counties.
